Suburban Music School provides music instruction in Chester, PA. Programs take place at the Learning Tree Daycare Center, the Chester YWCA, Toby Farms Elementary School and Chester Eastside Ministries. Each week, faculty members teach music classes to children in preschool and after school programs as an enrichment activity. Children learn fundamental music skills and, through this process, develop self-esteem, speech, fine and gross motor skills. Private instruction is offered at some of the centers for selected instruments. A registered music therapist is available to work with children who have
special needs. The Chester Music Program is made possible through generous contributions from individuals and foundations.
